Our Oak Oiled engineered flooring has 190 mm wide boards with a thickness of 20 mm and a 4 mm wear layer. This wear layer allows sanding multiple times, each time bringing your flooring back to as new. Long 1900 mm long boards, although please expect a split board in each box.
This is to create that natural stagger and look when installing, this floor can be installed as a floating floor or secured directly to the sub floor with no underlay. It has a tongue and groove fixing system.
This is a natural product with a prime grading, it may have pin knots but minimum sapwood and minimal colour variation compared to a classic grade. The natural oiled finish is absorbed into the hardwood wear layer, accentuating the grain of the wood.
The sub floor must be flat, dry and free of debris. Manufacturer guidelines need to be followed at all times when installing your new floor.
Ideally Floorsave would recommend an additional coat of oil is applied once the product is installed.
We recommend that customers order a free sample, before purchasing, as photographs can only show a representation of the real product.
